Is this safe to use?
Passwords are made on your device with the browser's cryptographic random generator, the same kind used for encryption keys. They are never sent or stored.
How long should a password be?
Sixteen characters or more with mixed character types is strong for almost any account. Use a password manager so you never have to remember them.
What does “bits” mean?
Bits measure how unpredictable a password is. Each extra bit doubles the guesses needed. Above 80 bits is strong; above 110 is very strong.
