Are my photos uploaded?
No. Your images are processed by your own browser and never leave your device. That also makes it fast.
Which quality should I use?
75% keeps photos looking sharp at a fraction of the size. For email attachments or thumbnails, 60% and a max width of 1600 px is usually plenty.
Why did my PNG get bigger?
PNG is lossless, so it cannot throw away detail. Switch the format to JPEG or WebP, or lower the max width.
